For visible mold on dry areas

We collect small surface samples—using tape lifts or bulk materials—from walls, ceilings, or objects where mold is present or suspected.

Ideal when:

— Mold is visible but contained
— Surfaces appear discolored or dusty
— You need to confirm if it's mold

For areas affected by moisture or water damage

Swab samples are taken from damp areas to detect active mold growth. This method is non-destructive and quick, often used after leaks or floods.

Ideal when:

— There's recent or ongoing moisture
— Mold isn't visible but is likely present
— You need to assess high-risk zones like bathrooms, basements, or under sinks

For detecting airborne spores

We test the air to measure the concentration of invisible mold spores in each room. This is especially useful when no mold is seen, but symptoms suggest it may be present.

Ideal when:

— You notice musty odors
— Residents have allergy-like symptoms
— You want to compare indoor vs. outdoor spore levels
